The poem that I have choosen is "The Charge of the Light Brigade" by Alfred, Lord Tennyson. How I came to this poem is through my friends and that Alfred is my mom's favorite poet. Also Robert Frost is another one of her favorites. My mom has helped my with my poem.
This poem, "The Charge of the Light Brigade", tells of a war battle. Also that sometime you have to make risks to do something heroic. Sometimes it will pay off but sometimes not. In war you never know if you will come back alive or if you will fall. This connects to my life with my dad. When my dad gets sent to the war grounds I always pray that he will come home safely. I never know if something had happend to him.
How I will be expressing this poem is through my voice. I will use my voice to me the poem sound like it is someone how had survived the battle. My voice will be deep and dark. This battle was never a good one for the Light Brigade.
